How to Choose University Career
10 things that I have learned as a university student and as a mother:
2/10 – Try a Foreign University
4/10 – Sciences or Humanities?
5/10 – What if I have no idea about what to do?
6/10 – What I want and I like or what I reason I have better job opportunities?
8/10 – What if I “make a mistake”? Descartes or Hume…
9/10 – Take a sabbatical year and travel around the World
3/10 – Keep doing Sport
Do I leave the sport that I am passionate about and I dedicate myself to study because it is more important or not?
Keep doing sport in a university team.
You can obtain a sports scholarship to study that partially costs your studies or, choose a university where sports studies are combined, for example, in the United Kingdom, in whose universities one of the strengths of your application letter will be to indicate that you like a sport especially if it is a team sport. University life is not conceived without the practice of a sport, it is more, they dedicate Wednesdays to it and offer you special permissions if you can not go to class or to an exam for playing a game, because for these Universities it is a prestige to have a team competing in the university leagues.
Do you want to become a professional player? For more obstacles that come up, limit them and pursue your dream. Do not let anyone tell you that the only important thing is to study and get a career. Sign up for a University where there are sports teams and university leagues and try it. If you succeed, you will be the happiest person in the world. And, although you may not get it, I encourage you to try it because you will enjoy several advantages:
… the ball is in your court!
