We need to know how to wait, to be patient, to trust, to let go.
We plant a seed and nothing happens for years and when it comes time it sprouts and starts to grow, 1 meter per day until it reaches about 30 meters high, something that was unthinkable during the time we have been attentive without observe no change, grows in front our surprised eyes, anything can stop it, it turns out that it was taking root to be able to develop in all its magnitude.
Not before or later, but at the right time.
Things do not happen when you want, sometimes luckily. They happen after a pampered process, after having planted the right seeds, fertilized and watered the earth. Not everything depends on us, that the ground is the most appropriate, that the sun rises, that it does not freeze … and, in spite of all the factors that are not in our hands, we are the architects of the miracle for having planted that seed and having trusted that it would grow and become the plant it already is.
Advent has this effect of waiting, of trust, of faith, of hope for the Christmas that will come and will be.
Our children also resemble bamboo, after many illusions and no less worries, after a time without hardly noticing any changes, one day they mature and in front our eyes they show all the beauty that they have been accumulating during these years giving us the greatest satisfaction as parents. It turns out that they listened to us …
And, the same thing happens these days with the New Year projects that we started, we have to give them a journey so that when the year ends they surprise us with their achievement. For months it seemed that they were not going to be carried out and, nevertheless, after not ceasing in the effort, suddenly, the circumstances occur and end up materializing in an even more beautiful project than with the one we initially dreamed of.
So do not give up, do not despair, do not go or abandon any of your dreams because …
“Everything has its time and there is a time for everything.” Ecclesiastes
I wish your dreams come true …
MERRY CHRISTMAS 2017!
